Bio
Ron McDade serves as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Minnesota North College – Itasca, where he is focused on building a competitive, disciplined, and player-centered program.
A graduate of West Virginia State University, McDade earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration before later receiving his teaching certification from Wheeling University. Prior to Minnesota North – Itasca, he served as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball program at Williston State College.
In addition to his coaching background, McDade previously served as an Engineer in the West Virginia Army National Guard, bringing leadership, discipline, and accountability into his coaching philosophy.
Coach McDade is committed to player development, relationship building, and helping student-athletes succeed both on and off the court. He takes pride in creating a hard-working, team-first culture while preparing players for future opportunities.
McDade and his wife, Stacy, have two children, Connor and Kierstyn.
