MCAC Honors 236 Athletes With 2022 Fall All-Academic Awards
The Minnesota College Athletic Conference has announced its 2022 Fall MCAC All-Academic Team and 236 student-athletes have earned the distinguished honor. Recognized individuals combined athletic and academic accomplishments while competing at a member MCAC institution during the Fall 2022 semester. This conference honor demonstrates the commitment from the member institutions, administration, coaches, and student-athletes to provide and engage in a balanced educational experience which is integral to the philosophy of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.
The honored student-athletes listed all met sport-specific athletic requirements and possess a cumulative grade point average at or above the standards as established by the members of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.
The athletic component and strong GPA standard allow for the MCAC All-Academic honor to be an example of the balanced excellence championed by the MCAC and the NJCAA Division III philosophy. The MCAC All-Academic Team is comprised of athletes who participated in the fall sports of Football, Golf, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, and Volleyball.
The 2022 Fall MCAC All-Academic Team is represented by student-athletes from 23 states and 6 countries.
The MCAC All-Academic honorees are announced twice annually, following the completion of both the fall and spring academic semesters.
The MCAC Elite Team will be announced in a separate release. The MCAC Elite Team is comprised of student-athletes who earned All-Division, All-Conference, All-Region &/or All-American honors, and were also named MCAC All-Academic in the same competitive season.
